Due to a lab screwup, Snip goes back to the vet tomorrow morning so they can draw more blood. They should just take mine; it would be easier, and it's probably gonna happen anyway when I try to get Snip into the small carrier. The large carrier is easier to get her into, but harder to deal with getting down the stairs, up the street, on the bus at rush hour, etc. I wonder, as I have for about a year now, if it would be worth teaching her to wear a harness and walk on a leash.

I have a tentative and not particularly cunning plan to get to Noank for Thanksgiving, but I haven't implemented it yet. The credit card bill should show up any day now, and I would love for that to happen before I buy anything else not necessary to sustain life.

Speaking of sustaining life, I would like lentils a lot better if they didn't taste like lentils, and if they didn't dissolve so that everything else they're in a dish with also tastes like lentils. I think I've tried them often enough by now to be absolutely certain I don't like them.

Is Ethiopian food an exception to the lentils hating?

It is not. That and umpteen-bean soup are how I keep trying them. I haven't had my mom's lentil stew in years, but I didn't like that either.

So, pretty much you would like lentils if they were completely unlike lentils. ;) (There's actually a lot of things like that, now that I think of it.)
