I bought a little laser-pointer doodad at Petco yesterday, to see if I could get Snip interested in chasing non-shoelace objects. Nope. In fact, when I put the laser dot on her foot, she looked very disturbed and backed up. When I got around to doing that to Lily, she tried to kill it. Doing it to Lily took a while, though, because I had to get myself to stop laughing. The first time she saw the laser, an invisible bubble came up over her head saying "?", and then it uncurled into "!", and she pounced.

I don't think there are enough hours this afternoon to cram in all the meetings that are supposed to happen. There oughta be a law against having that many meetings on Thanksgiving week anyway. I'll bring it up with the Minister of Convenience as soon as one is appointed.
