1. I hate physics. Especially the kinds that lead to most of a roll of tin foil falling out of its box and unrolling itself across my kitchen.

2. I must do laundry today, so as to have all the appropriate snow-shoveling socks ready for tomorrow. I expect to get at least two pairs soaking wet.
