looking up, and looking forward
Jan. 28th, 2010 10:26 amIt's been a very tough two weeks at work. Hopefully it will be better now, because today is the point of no return for the February CAD meeting. Now I have half a clue as to how things work, so next month I can acquire the rest of the clue. (Just in time to hand the April CAD meeting back to its previous owner, because the April meeting will be happening while I'm in India. I wasn't in charge of the CAD meeting when I booked the trip.)
Speaking of which, as of last Friday, a copy of the applicant's birth certificate is required for all Indian visas. I do have my birth certificate; the problem is, it's in my safe deposit box. So I have to leave work early today to go to the bank and retrieve my birth certificate, because I don't want to wait until Saturday to get this done. I could, and it wouldn't hurt anything, but I'm feeling stubborn about doing something for me once this week. I'm also kicking myself, a little, for not submitting the application last week.
I'm not quite at the "OK, I am done with winter, kindly take it back" point yet, but I really enjoyed the thaw.
