I need two more three-day weekends in the next two or three weeks, because it's impossible to get done all the things I need to get done and all the things I want to get done. I'm about to blow next Saturday on a trip to NYC to go see a show of Mardi Gras costume drawings done by a family friend. The show closes on Sunday and I only found out about it yesterday, of course.

Meanwhile I still have a fair bit of cleaning to do at home, and some semi-important weekend errands to run, and I'm feeling generally short on sleep. I was having trouble sleeping for large parts of January (work-related nightmares) and I've been getting up to get things done on weekends for most of February. The answer, of course, is to take a personal day on either a Friday or a Monday. I'm not sure I can get away with that, though.

All that aside, this past weekend was pretty nice. I did all my running around on Saturday, and spent yesterday in Noank celebrating my father's and uncle's birthdays. Any celebration involving my soon-to-be brother-in-law's homemade eclairs is one to show up for (and besides, I'll be in India for Easter). And the weather cooperated for both weekend days, so running around on Saturday was pleasant in itself.

Does anyone happen to know if the old-style square Apple AC adapters convert voltage? I can't find that information anywhere reliable. The new ones do, but I don't want to buy new adapters unless it comes down to a serious carry-on luggage capacity issue.

I have a couple of plug converts for US - Indian plug styles. Indian Plug styles are pretty scary, but the power worked fine for my laptop (without any magic converter, just the plug converter)
