dchenesThat was some impressive weather last night. This morning my uphill neighbors' recycling bin had six inches of water in it, although I think that's from Tuesday through last night. I was shocked that the road was drying out, too.
Anyway, I spent the evening reassuring Snip. She does not like windstorms; I think it's the noise of the windows rattling, which pretty much didn't stop all night. Whatever it was, it put her off her dinner, which is unheard of (even after swallowing the needle, she ate dinner), and caused her to want affection, which usually she can take or leave.
As much as I really want to go see my friend's costume drawings exhibit in NYC this weekend, based on the weather forecasts for both here and there, I think I'm better off staying home. I don't like NYC much to begin with and I liked it even less in the rain, so I can't imagine I'd like it in the snow.
I have a bit of a case of I Don't Wanna about almost everything productive I have to get done today. Mostly because a lot of it has been rescheduled at least twice, and what hasn't has become an emergency on my part through procrastination on other people's parts. (TGIF, in short.)
