stubbornnesses
Apr. 23rd, 2010 11:43 amLesson learned: next time I go on a New Adventure like that, I take the whole week after I get back from it off too. (I still have three weeks of accrued vacation, which means I can take two weeks off in the summer and have an actual recharge-the-batteries vacation. Yay!)
I had a minor fit of adolescence this morning, and am wearing a shirt it's too cold for, because I bloody well wanted to wear that shirt today. At least I put a coat on over it when I went off to the bus stop.
Speaking of weather, earlier this week I saw an article about "spring creep", which is basically climate scientists having fits because spring is showing up ten days earlier lately than it has historically. Given that spring pretty much didn't show up at all last year, I find it hard to call the fact that it showed up early this year a disaster of epic proportions. (But everything's a disaster of epic proportions for climate scientists, as far as I can tell.)
Also speaking of weather, hooray for the thunderstorm yesterday! I love thunderstorms.
I had the Before India/After India list, and now I seem to be working on the Before Memorial Day/After Memorial Day list. Hopefully after Memorial Day, I can stop making lists like that. They get depressing when most of the fun stuff is on the After list.
