itches scratched

Every so often there's something I think "I really ought to do that" about, and then it itches the back of my brain periodically, until the itch gets intolerable and I bellow ARGH and finally Do Something About It. In consequence of which, I now own a sport coat again.
I own a sport coat because when I was in college, I had one of my father's old sport coats and I pretty much loved it to death; it had been a good coat for 30-odd years by the time I adopted it, so it shredded itself eventually.
Then I discovered fleece jackets, and that was fine, except I seem to have a talent for forgetting them in various places. The most recent one is in India. Fleece being somewhat expensive, I figured I'd go back to sport coats, and have been thinking that since about mid-April. Today I finally got around to doing something about it. Going out without a coat on a wet day, when I was cold to begin with, had quite a lot to do with that. The only thing is, now I have to decide if it's worth spending a largish amount of money on having the shoulder pads taken out of an $8 secondhand sport coat. (Probably not.)
The other itch I finally scratched is putting the India pictures I want prints of on a CD so I can take them somewhere and get them printed. I want to have something to hand around at the next huge (non-wedding) family gathering. Tomorrow I can run off and see how much it will cost to get 73 4x6 prints made.
On to the next itch, which is vacuuming the living room rug (again). When you have a blue rug and an orange cat, it's pretty obvious in shedding season.
