dchenesWell, I made it to Friday.
Monday I got suckered into cleaning up after a faculty orientation event, and left work at 7:30.
Tuesday was P&R day, so I had to be at work at 6:45 and left again at 6:30.
Wednesday I had a meeting that started at 4:30, and ended at 5:30. That was actually good because I expected it to end at 6:00.
Yesterday I left work at 3:00, but only because I had a dentist appointment at 4:00 in Cambridge. I almost rescheduled it, but by the time I knew what kind of week this was going to be, it was too late to reschedule.
I am now debating whether I can get away with using the two hours of overtime from Monday to balance out the two hours of dentist time I forgot to put in the absence management system. I hate the absence management system, because everything that goes in it has to be approved by the office manager. Who gets very snotty if you don't ask her BEFORE you put anything in it. And I've already been to the dentist, so there's no point in asking for time off to go to the dentist now.
The credit card bill arrived last night, so now I'm fairly tempted to go spend a lot of money on dead cow at Morton's sometime soon. Can't be tonight, because I wore sneakers to work, and they probably wouldn't let me in wearing sneakers.
