dchenesThe Niagara of the Nose seems to be drying up, thank goodness. And I got to leave work at 2:20 because all I'd be doing would be getting in the way while the movers bring things in. However, when I got home, I realized that today is the day the chimney is being worked on. It's a nice enough day for going back out again, but I'm tired since I still have a cold.
The weather went back up to 70 and the oil company came and left me a $400 invoice. There's something ironic about that. Here's hoping the new windows work as advertised, and I won't have a $400 fuel bill every other month between now and March.
Some day when I have five minutes to spare, I have to make vet appointments for the Hairy Beasts. They need their rabies shots. At least Snip isn't quite such a bowling ball with feet these days. You can actually see that she has hips.
Two weeks ago I finally got halfway through the Golden Wood embroidery pattern. It wouldn't have taken me this long, except I had to stop for about six months to work on my sister's wedding present. I don't think I'll ever do another design by Heaven and Earth again, but this is going to be incredible when it's done. From across the room it really does look like a painting.
I wish I could remember that I need to buy vacuum cleaner bags sometime when the janitorial supply store is actually open.
