It really would have been a good idea if I had remembered to include a "Your Name" field on the electronic votesheets. Since I forgot that, I have to figure out whose votesheets I've got based on who they voted on. Fortunately almost nobody votes on candidates other than the ones they were assigned to vote on. Lesson learned, though.
The office has invested in a bunch of flash drives so that those of us who have to take minutes at meetings can do so on office laptops, and then put the minutes on the network drive from our own computers later. Which is a lovely idea, except it doesn't work in my case. We wanted to have flash drives that were unique enough to be noticeable (this is mine), and the USB ports on my ancient computer are at the bottom of a slot too narrow for the drive to fit in. Fortunately, I have a plain old ordinary 8GB flash drive, which does fit in the slot where the USB ports are. Proof positive that this computer predates flash drives that come in funny shapes. I wonder how old it actually is? (ETA: At least seven years old. The person it's registered to left OFA in 2004.)
