dchenesThursday? Who ordered a Thursday? (It's been a long week, for work-related reasons. Suffice it to say that my coworker and I went out for beer last night because we both felt like we'd been run over by a steam roller.)
I am all about the weather for the last two days, though. Finally, we get sunshine! We like sunshine! The Hairy Beasts are spending a lot of time baking in various sunspots. I guess all their solar cells got drained. They're shedding like it's going out of style, too. (Reminder: buy vacuum cleaner bags.)
Harvard graduates today. As much as I hate most of the logistical nightmares involved with college graduations, I have to admit that I think academic regalia is sort of fun. How many silly hats can you cram into an otherwise solemn occasion?
I'm debating whether I want to go anywhere this weekend, and if so, how. Train tickets on holiday weekends are just this side of extortionate, and if I rent a car I'll be on the road with everybody else, and the bus that used to be convenient has stopped being convenient. I wish I had a *pop*-you're-elsewhere cloak. That would be convenient, as long as the cloak understood which elsewhere I meant to be going to. Otherwise, not so much...
I apparently have a meeting in ten minutes. I wonder if it will actually happen?
