The sheet music I was waiting for arrived last night, hooray! I was hoping it would get here before my next voice lesson (on the 23rd). Given the delivery dates of "October 7 - October 25", I wasn't all that optimistic. But it's here, so it's all good. And it didn't even get rained on.

By the end of the day yesterday, I had four P&R members on The List. Two of them are still on it, too. But in the long run, all they've done is create more work for themselves, not necessarily more work for us. And it's Friday, so I won't have to think about it for two days. (Doesn't mean I won't think about it, but I don't HAVE to.)

Now that Sprint has the iPhone, I may have to do something about that when my current phone dies. I'm not in a screaming rush, though; the only thing I want a smartphone for is an app that will tell me when I might expect a bus to be coming. I'd save some time on weekends that way. As it is, I get tired of waiting for the bus and start walking, and the bus catches up with me one stop before I get where I'm going. It's probably good for me from an exercise point of view, but it's aggravating to do it when I'm carrying several bags of groceries.

I'm not sure who was more annoyed when the alarm went off this morning: me, Lily or Snip. I was annoyed because both Hairy Beasts took turns planting themselves on the bed in inconvenient places all night, when they weren't arguing about whose space was whose. I kicked Snip at least once, and I would have kicked Lily if she hadn't moved. (I wasn't kicking anybody on purpose; they were In The Way and I wasn't particularly awake.) When the alarm went off, Lily was parked on the end of the bed looking superior, and Snip was sitting on the floor looking disgusted.

Since it seems to be brightening up outdoors, perhaps the weather forecast was right about it not raining tomorrow. Of course, it ain't tomorrow yet, but it would be nice if it didn't rain.
