dchenesThere's actual blue sky outdoors! (Just in time for it to go away all day tomorrow, but never mind.) And it's Thursday, which I've finally come to terms with, since I thought it was Friday all morning. I think I've finally put out all the fires that have to be put out before January 1. Anything to keep a certain hospital department from having a snit fit at me on January 2.
Speaking of snit fits, I don't know what's going on with the Hairy Beasts these days. They're acting like they hear things that I don't, so either the place is haunted, or I've got mice in the walls and can't hear them, or the Hairy Beasts are losing what there is of their minds. Or there's a feline conspiracy to make me lose what's left of my mind. It wouldn't surprise me if it was mice, but if they know what's good for them, they'll stay in the walls. A couple of mice have found that out the hard way since I got Lily.
Hopefully after Saturday, the mice will all be scared out of the second floor anyway, because a cleaning fit of MASSIVE proportions is scheduled for Saturday. I am sick and tired of living in chaos and cat hair, so Things Will Be Done About That. I want horizontal surfaces I can actually see the surface of, for one thing. (But that's only one thing. There are many others.) Pull out umbrella and yell CHARGE!
