I think I liked my birthday last year somewhat better, but only because I took the day off and did what I bloody well pleased all day. This year I got a new job for my birthday (sort of; I got the job last week), so what else could I want?

Celebration of this year's birthday commences on Friday night, as soon as I figure out whether I want tapas, or whether I want to try something new and different by way of dinner.
