Dec. 16th, 2013 01:53 pmWell of COURSE it's going to snow again tomorrow; what else would it do on a day when I really wish it wouldn't?
I'm grumpy because it's not the surgery that bothers me, it's the details. I'm reasonably certain that things will work out, and it's not like I have any say in what the weather is going to do, but the whole "shower the night before AND the morning of with clean, freshly laundered towels" thing is bugging me. I only have two sets of towels, and one has to be clean so Mom can use it, and I'm not going to be able to wash them between the night before and the morning of. I don't think there's going to be a catastrophe if I use clean towels the night before and re-use them the morning of. They're most likely going to paint me all over with iodine anyway.
(eep!)

Date: 2013-12-17 02:39 am (UTC)Best of luck. You will feel like crap for a week (and avoid the scale!!! They pump you full of saline and it will take you a week to pee it out) but you will be fine in the end.
