dchenesOK. Wow. All midterm exams are done. I should not go into an hour-long practical exam starting at 7:15 without having eaten something first. The second hour of that class was all about me wanting to fall asleep where I sat, after inhaling anything edible within reach.
However, I finished the exam three minutes (three whole minutes! Whee!) early, and I think there's only one major error in my translation. I suspect there are a couple of minor errors, but I'm not as worried about those. The major error is either an idiom I've never seen or a reference to something earlier in the text that didn't show up in the excerpt. The text was about a Russian car with exactly one thing going for it: it's cheap. That would have been amusing if I had had more time to notice it.
Tonight calls for a hot bath and two or three Advil. My shoulders hurt.
