dchenesI am now immersed in the Tuesday-To-Tuesday Week In October In Which Everything Happens. To the point where I fell asleep on the bus on the way to chorus rehearsal last night. I can take a hint, so I went home at halftime. But PD2 Oral Health Day is over now, and I got shot full of flu, and most of the prep for the retreat next Tuesday is done (including the application for CE credit, which is a pain in the neck and means I have to try to get the people at the retreat to fill out evaluation forms).
I did not order a headache, but I seem to have one anyhow. I'm blaming the flu shot, whether that's actually why or not. So there.
Having bailed on half of the rehearsal last night, I should really go to the sectional on Saturday. Right now I have a fairly severe case of Don't Wanna, but the sectionals are usually useful, and run by the assistant conductor, and it's only an hour and a half. Most of the Don't Wanna is coming from the fact that it's in the morning and in Cambridge, and getting there on a weekend morning at a specific time gives me agita. Also, maybe I won't have a headache on Saturday morning.
