dchenesTraining day 2 was "emotional intelligence and how to get along with your boss", which was a little less necessary because I already get along with my boss fairly well, symposium excepted (and the symposium stuff is my personal Don't Wanna. It'll be fine, just get me past it.)
The Harvard Hero thing really bothers me. I wish they hadn't announced it in mid-April when the ceremony isn't until mid-June. I don't have any laurels to rest on and I don't have any time to rest on them anyway, between graduation and symposium and training and every goddamn thing else between mid-April and mid-June.
Also filed under every goddamn thing else, Lily's thyroid is being more hyper than it should despite the pills. So now I have to decide if I try to give her more pills or if I want a temporarily radioactive cat. That's going to run into money, but hopefully it will only happen once.
I keep forgetting this is going to be a long weekend. Next week is going to be a mess because Monday off, work on Tuesday, training on Wednesday, work on Thursday and Friday. Long weekend first, though, and I think I need one.
