dchenesAs of Friday, "How come it never goes smooth?" The three big things going on in my life right now are scuba, Radioactive Cat, and CODA surveys. Two of the three refuse to end.
Good thing I was happy with the New Plan, because they wouldn't let me in the pool last night on account of my left ear going Thud every time I swallow (and whistling every time I blow my nose, but I didn't tell them that). I have to go to urgent care and wait several hours to have somebody look in my ear for 30 seconds and say Yep, there's fluid in it, lucky you. So I'll do that today and hopefully do 6 and 7 in the pool next Sunday and the open water stuff on Oct 20 and 21 and that'll be the end of that. Watch that not happen, just because, though.
As of Friday, Lily's next vet appointment is Oct 18, and now it's "does she have a UTI we have to treat" rather than "when can we do Radioactive Cat". At this point I have no idea if we'll ever do Radioactive Cat. Fortunately I paid off all the scuba stuff except the open water dives already, so I'm not paying for an expensive hobby and a lot of vet appointments at the same time.
The CODA surveys will end, by virtue of having due dates. I just wish there weren't five of them all with different due dates between September 5 and December 5.
However, Remembering the Good Things, I don't live in Andover, Lawrence, or Lowell, so I can turn the gas stove on with impunity. The heat hasn't come on yet because I shut the living room windows last week and fooled the thermostat into thinking it's been 70 ever since. But it could come on with impunity too.
Also, Trader Joe's version of Cinnamon Toast Crunch hit the spot so thoroughly that I have to stop buying it when this box is gone, because if I keep buying it, I'll keep eating it.
And, the Drama Llama is out today, so it's reasonably quiet in here.
