It wasn't Clean Out the Closet Day, but it was Take Ring to Jeweler Day. I ended up going to Rebekah Brooks in Harvard Square, because I'm more likely to be in Harvard Square than I am to be in Downtown Crossing (although I did go to Downtown Crossing first, and noticed it didn't smell like urine for once. Then I remembered the Biblical rain we had yesterday.). Anyway, RB is going to find out if it's possible to plate silver with rhodium, and call me back either way.

I also did the grocery shopping. It's blackberry season again. GIMME.

I was going to reinvest in cookie sheets, having recycled the cheap old rusty ones last week (and saved the rusty old cast iron frying pan), but then I remembered that today's Friday and I don't have to conquer the entire world today. Tomorrow is soon enough for cookie sheets and cleaning out the closet. And putting the bills in the mail. And taking out the recycling. And...

I got some really nice (and matching in depth) oven pans from Amazon from USA Pan Bakeware. They've been pretty good and we got rid of some of ours that weren't as sturdy and more likely to warp in hand. I got 2 half sheets and a quarter, but really I need one more quarter sheet pan.
