good things

dchenesThis hasn't been the best week, but there have been good things.
1. I managed to get my toilet unclogged without having to call the management office or a plumber. One of the first things I bought when I moved in was a plumber's helper, because it's one of those things you don't need often, but when you need one, you REALLY need one.
2. Just for the hell of it, I posted something I had written on a public web site, and people are reading it. 400 people have read it in the week since I posted it, and such comments as have been left are good. (Which surprised me, because what I posted was utter and absolute fluff.)
3. They may be expensive, but good grapefruit have finally arrived in Ohio.
4. Translation is still fun.
5. It's Friday, and Friday the 13th falls on a Friday this month, which means nothing other than that it amuses me.
