Jul. 15th, 2002 10:11 amI don't know what in the world is wrong with the driving public these days, but every time I go anywhere, I see at least one blatantly stupid thing done by somebody in a car. Did Massachusetts pass a left-turn-on-red law I don't know about? It makes me almost glad I don't have a driver's license, although I really am going to do something about that soon. (I know, I've only been saying that since, oh, 1998, but it's starting to piss me off that I don't have one.)
I also don't know why I can't sleep lately. If I have to manifest stress, I'd much rather not eat than not sleep. If it isn't stress, I'd like to know what it is so I can fix it. All I know is, staying up until 11:30 and then waking up again at 3:00 when I have to get up and go to work isn't fun. Not that going to work in the first place is all that much fun anyway. I've needed a vacation since about March, and going to Texas didn't count as a vacation.
As a completely unrelated thought, why on earth does it annoy me that somebody who couldn't remember when my birthday was when I was dating him forgot it again this year?
