I've done something to my ankle. I think I know what, and it has to do with the way I sit on my kneeling chair. Unfortunately the way to stop sitting on it that way is to get a new kneeling chair, and those things are either hella expensive or have to be special ordered from Staples. (If Staples even has them any more. The last time I asked was last spring.)

I wish it would get warm again so I would get motivated to do things, like clean my entire apartment and argue with the featherbed until it fluffs up again and flip the futon pad both ways (over and end for end) and wash all the windows and get that box of books out of my living room and that pile of clothes out of my bedroom and clear off the top of the table. It sounds like I need to use a vacation day and have an extended cleaning fit. That worked very well in October.

I suppose that means I should make a cleaning fit list. But not until after the March SOP meeting is sorted out. (February being a short month, and people being idiots about showing up for meetings between February and May, we're having a two-item meeting. It'll be over in twenty minutes. But I still have to arrange food and parking and take attendance and invite reviewers and do all that other stuff that takes a gazillion years to sort out.)

It's student loan refinancing junk mail season. I've been playing with the idea of refinancing my grad school loan at least, but I'm damned if I'll do it with any company that sends me junk snail mail at least once a week for three months (aka Nelnet) or any company that sends me a single sheet of copier paper with no company name on it that says "Call this number to refinance your loan!" (Riiiight. And how do I know your entire operation doesn't consist of a postage machine and a laser printer?).

So the question is, how does one go about finding a way to refinance a student loan that doesn't involve responding to junk mail?
