dchenes: (katana)
It feels like Monday was at least a month ago. I remember Monday, because that was sudden-coffee-after-work day, but everything that's happened between then and now feels like it took absolutely forever. However, as tedious as that is, I am still having a better week than the people on Murdock St. whose houses caught fire yesterday. It seems like a lot of news stories about Boston house fires these days attribute them to short circuits. That makes me wonder whether "have it rewired" should really be at the top of the if-I-owned-the-place list or whether I should leave well enough alone since nothing has happened in all the years I've lived there. For now it falls under "not my circus, not my monkeys", so I should probably stop worrying about it.

Tomorrow is going to be a high-exercise day, because I need to buy kitty litter and groceries and I have a voice lesson. That's three separate trips (although I do tend to take the T home from kitty litter expeditions; I'm allowed not to take The Hill in that case). But exercise is good for me and all that. Perhaps Sunday will be whale watch day.
