Ye gods, is it hot and humid out.

I would have taken today off if not for the database meeting (which was pretty much a bust this week, as far as I'm concerned. What was supposed to be a 10-minute update on the P&R database took an hour and a quarter and we never talked about senior promotions processes at all.). I would take tomorrow off if not for the staff meeting, which I have to go to in order to get questions answered. I make up a list during the week and ask them all at once at the Friday meeting, unless it's REALLY important.

I keep wanting to make quesadillas, and I never quite get there for some reason. Today it's too hot for that, but under normal circumstances, there's nothing difficult about putting cheese and spinach and mushrooms and such in a tortilla and heating up the whole works until the cheese melts. I don't know why I keep thinking it's too much of a pain in the neck to deal with.

Apparently it's going to be 90-odd degrees out on Saturday. That sounds like a good excuse to spend several hours up to the neck in water, preferably in the ocean, but I'll settle for the bathtub if I have to.

Mine (and Matt's) is at 12. I'd stick around to get to see you, but we have this BBQ to go to for all the volunteers from the bunny rescue group.

Whatcha doing on Sunday?

Nothing much as of now. Sleeping in might be nice, if the weather will permit.

Well, we have air conditioning, bunnies that need to learn about being scritched by feet and plans to make cherry jam tonight...
