Some day I'll have a kitchen of adequate size, such that I can chop things up and leave them someplace while I do something else. As it is, I have to wedge one corner of the cutting board under the drainboard to keep the cutting board from falling into the sink. Then I either have to chop things up and put them in containers and stack the containers up (and then wash the containers afterward), or I have to cook things that don't need a whole lot of babysitting so I can chop things up while I'm cooking other things.

All of which is by way of saying I've got a very large amount of stirfried mushrooms and celery and peapods and water chestnuts and baby corn and tofu and leftover shrimp sitting on the stove waiting for the rice to get done. That's lunch for the rest of this week and probably most of next week. (Memo to self: next time, start the rice first.)

This is also a reminder for me to think some more about what I wrote tonight. It was a good night for writing.

According to the weather forecast, it's going to be 40 and raining this weekend. (Phoo.) Are you doing anything in particular tonight?

The only Super Mario Bros. game I was ever any good at is the original flavor. (Now I've got the music stuck in my head.)

We should take a look at the options on this silly game box, it looks like it has Super Mario Bros for N64.

Tonight doesn't really work. I have to feed Jasper twice and Matt has my car because his needs to be taken to the shop (speedometer suddenly stopped working on Monday). After that, I need to go by Jen & Wiley's to drop off a ladder and pick something up from Jen.

Perhaps an indoor thing during the weekend instead?

As long as I can sleep in on Saturday morning, this weekend would work.

Email is probably better for planning things, this week; I'm horrendously busy but I have to keep an eye on my email.
